Hot on the heels of the Guns N’ Roses announcement, it has now been confirmed that Canadian superstar Bryan Adams will take to the very same stage less than a week later.
Returning to the region for the first time in six years, the Everything I Do singer will perform at the Autism Rocks Arena near Dubai Outlet Mall on March 9, 2017.
Veteran rocker Adams was last in Dubai for a 2010 show at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Adored for his husky tones and soft-rock ballads, such as the iconic Everything I Do, Run To You and Summer Of 69, he’ll bring his Get Up tour to town a month after concluding the European and Asian legs.
Fans can expect a number of classic tracks as well as hits from his most recent album, his 13th, from which he takes the name of his tour.
On Tuesday, it was revealed reformed rockers and notoriously hard party people, Axl Rose and Slash would perform alongside each other with their band for the first time ever in the UAE. The show in Dubai is currently their last stop, after a little over a month in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The American band are responsible for one of the most popular songs in history, and beyond Sweet Child O’ Mine from their 1987 debut album Appetite for Destruction, they’re loved for high-energy mainstream smash hits like Paradise City (also from their first record) and November Rain from the 1991 follow up, Use Your Illusion I.
